About Glenda AllenHaving always had a love for adventure and meeting people, I was privileged to be able to travel from 1976 to 2002 visiting over 18 states to exhibit and sell my artwork in juried arts and crafts shows under the name of G. Marlo Allen. My specialty was realistic crow quill pen and ink illustrations and acrylic paintings of animals and people. It was a privilege to work with many talented artists and craftspeople over the course of 26 years and to learn how to deal with the myriad facets of helping the public, a skill that I now put to use as I assist my clients with their real estate transactions, making the experience of buying or selling their home as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
After retiring from the art circuit, I found the perfect fit as a Realtor, once again traveling – this time to show and sell homes – and meeting wonderful people along the way. I’ve enjoyed 15 years as a full time agent and anticipate many more. I look forward to working with new or returning clients with enthusiasm and dedication to their specific needs. I feel my responsibilities to the public include not only locating properties, but providing information, structuring offers, negotiating terms and handling details.
I am a strong proponent of education and along that line I hold the following certifications and designations: Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and ePRO. I am currently studying for my Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) designation.
When I’m not actively helping my clients with their real estate needs, I enjoy learning to play bluegrass banjo, crocheting, and, of course, drawing and painting.
